European Radiation Dosimetry Group, Annual Meeting, Karlsruhe, Germany, February 27 – March 2, 2017
Maia Avtandilashivil and Sara Dumit attended the annual meeting of the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS) in Karlsruhe, Germany, February 27 – March 2, 2017. In conjunction with the annual meeting, EURADOS Working Group 7 (WG7) on internal dosimetry held a working group meeting. Dr. Avtandilashvili and Ms. Dumit both gave presentations at the WG7 meeting. Dr. Avtandilashvili’s presentation described the wide variety of research projects that could be conducted using USTUR data. Ms. Dumit presented her Ph.D. research on plutonium biokinetics in the human body following decorporation treatment.
