Frozen and fixed USTUR samples are a unique and valuable resource, which open up a world of research opportunities for scientists. USTUR faculty members and their collaborators have published and/or presented the results of such studies at a variety of U.S. and international meetings. Topics have included the analysis of beryllium in autopsy tissues of nuclear workers; SF-ICPMS analysis of biological samples for U, Pu, and Am; and modeling a uranium hexafluoride inhalation.
