Hanford Advisory Board Presentation

USTUR’s director presented a “tutorial” on “plutonium toxicity” to a joint meeting of the Hanford Advisory Board’s (HAB) River & Plateau Committee (RAP) and Health, Safety & Environmental Protection Committee (HSEP) at their January 8, 2009 meeting (in Richland, WA).

The HAB is an independent, non-partisan, and broadly representative body consisting of a balanced mix of the diverse interests that are affected by Hanford cleanup issues. Dr. James is an alternate board member, representing local and regional public health.
