European Radiation Dosimetry Group, Working Group 7 on Internal Dosimetry, October 1-3, 2012
Dr. Sergei Tolmachev and Ms. Stacey McComish represented the USTUR at the plenary meeting of the European Radiation Dosimetry Group’s (EURADOS) Working Group 7 (WG7) on Internal Dosimetry in Budapest, Hungary, October 1-3, 2012. Dr. Tolmachev gave a presentation that summarized Chris Nielsen’s research on the plutonium retention in USTUR Registrants, and reported on progress toward defining the best bone (or group of bones) to use when estimating the activity in the entire skeleton from individual bones such as the patella, clavicle, ribs, etc.
