European Radiation Dosimetry Group, Annual Meeting, February 1-3, 2010
Tony James participated in the 2010 Annual Meeting of the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS) in Rome, Italy (February 1-3), as an Associate Member of EURADOS. At the Working Group 7 (Internal Dosimetry) meeting, he presented a study carried out with Maia Avtandilashvili, a Ph.D. dissertation candidate at Idaho State University (ISU), in collaboration with Drs. Alan Birchall, Matt Puncher and Demetrio Gregoratto of the UK’s Health Protection Agency-Radiation Protection Division (HPA-RPD). The study is titled “USTUR Case 0202: Evaluation of a Proposed Revision to the ICRP HRTM for Refractory PuO2 (Pu Fire) Aerosol”. The full report of this study (USTUR-282-10) is being reviewed by HPA-RPD prior to publication on USTUR’s web site. Lively discussion ensued with members of EURADOS/WG-7 during Tony’s 1½-hour presentation session.
